2018 Henri Germain et Fils - Meursault Clos de la Mouches

Wafting from the glass with scents of spices, ripe cherries, rose petals and sweet soil tones, the 2018 Meursault Clos des Mouches Rouge is medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with powdery tannins and a sapid finish. Germain opted to ferment this with 25% whole clusters this year. From a small lieu-dit downslope from Santenots, this parcel was planted in 1949.
