Liquid Farm's 2015 Chardonnay La Hermana is a blend of fruit from Bien Nacido, Solomon Hills and Dierberg. Intensely pointed and saline, it will need a bit more time in bottle to be at its most expressive. In keeping with its Santa Maria origins, La Hermana is the most finely cut and chiseled of the Liquid Farm Chardonnays.

The 2015 La Hermana Chardonnay has pear tart, toasted almonds and ripe peaches on the nose with touches of freshly baked bread and acacia honey. Medium-bodied, fine-boned and with appealing freshness in the mouth, it has delicate savory flavors and a pleasant nuttiness on the finish.
Starting out and brought up all in neutral oak, the 2015 Chardonnay La Hermana is a mineral driven effort that has lots of pineapple, white peach and citrus notes in its medium-bodied, clean, crisp, raspy style. Based out of Santa Ynez, Liquid Farm Winery is a collaboration between Jeff Nelson, Nikki Pallesen and James Sparks. They make a bevy of classically styled, age-worthy Chardonnays, a Bandol-styled rosé, and two Pinot Noirs.
