2001 Alain Jaume - Vacqueras

The Alain Jaume 2001 Vacqueyras exhibits a deep purple color as well as a sweet nose of dusty blackberries and cherries intermixed with spice, chocolate, and earth. Dense, rich, and chewy, with ripe tannin, and a sweet, leathery, long finish, it hints at rusticity, but it is not an artisinal style of wine by any means. Drink it over the next 3-5 years.
