Punteggio 96/100 · Da bere 2026, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2022
In total contrast, the 2018 Côte Rôtie Cognet is not destemmed and offers a much more bloody, meaty, iron-driven style that’s going to demand bottle age. It still shows the purity and freshness of the estate and is medium to full-bodied and balanced, but it’s going to take 4-5 years for these tannins to soften.

Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2023-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022
On the Côte Brune, north of the dam, the 2018 Côte Rôtie Cognet combines notes of cherries, raspberries and olives on the nose. It's full-bodied, open-knit and maybe just a touch coarse, but with a long, velvety finish.
