2004 Spring Valley Cuvée Frederick

The 2004 Frederick further raises the bar. Composed of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot, this is Spring Valley’s interpretation of a classified growth Saint-Julien. Purple-colored, it offers up an expressive array of pain grille, pencil lead, espresso roast, black currants, and blackberry liqueur scents. Full-bodied, with layers of spicy black fruits, and terrific integration of oak, fruit, and acidity, this packed wine has a 60+ second finish.
