Note di degustazione
More spice and cola notes emerge from the 2016 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, and it's another well made, balanced, character filled effort from this estate. Showing more smoky, earthy, forest floor notes with time in the glass, it has good acidity, plenty of fruit, and a great finish. Fermented with 15% whole clusters and aged 14 months in 37% new French oak, it’s going to keep for upwards of a decade.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is medium to deep ruby-purple with a nose of candied cherry, warm black berries, smoked meats, dried flowers and earth. Medium to full-bodied with concentrated savory fruit, it's framed by firm, grainy tannins and has a long, savory finish. 740 cases produced.
Very impressive pinot here with a striking array of ripe red-cherry and plum aromas, as well as a neat thread of spicy and modern, meaty notes. The palate is beautifully rendered with finely detailed tannins and a long, supple and juicy build into the rich and fresh red-cherry finish. Drink or hold.
