Punteggio 16/20 · Da bere 2023-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, Apr 2023

Single-vineyard wine, Tras da Viña is a plot planted in 1965. Spontaneous fermentation in a steel tank and then racked after fermentation to remain on fine lees for 24 months without batônnage. No malolactic conversion. Tasted blind. Very open oxidised touch. Creamy and opulent, rich palate. Very pleasant and tasty. Notes of dried fruits on the back palate. (FC)

Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2022-2028, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Feb 2022

The 2019 Tras da Viña is from a vineyard planted in 1970 on rich and deep soils and with material taken from El Palomar. This wine is always bottled late and released later than the others; the 2019 was kept with fine lees in tank for two years. It has 13.1% alcohol and retained very high acidity (8.51 grams), a characteristic of the year despite being warm and having gone through partial malolactic, keeping excellent freshness (pH 3.11). This is excellent, very complete and combining power and elegance; it has depth and complexity; it's nuanced and seamless; it fills your mouth with its velvety texture; and it remains incredibly fresh. 3,600 bottles were filled in May 2021.
