Deeply hued, the 2022 Merlot Beckstoffer Las Amigas Vineyard has a smoking great nose of black cherries, scorched earth, graphite, and spring flowers. It's concentrated, medium to full-bodied, has ripe tannins, and a great finish.

A terrific value and a superb example of the variety, Myriad's 2022 Merlot Beckstoffer Las Amigas is all about the black cherries, just rolling across the palate is spherical ripeness and roundness. This full-bodied wine is plush and—dare I say it?—sexy, with a long, mouthwatering finish. It may not be as long-lived as the Cabernets, but it's a welcome addition to the Myriad lineup.
