The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Slinsen Vineyard is the most savory of the limited release Cabernets. It is also the most compact and hard to read today. Gravel, menthol and spice all open up in the bouquet, the wine is seriously tannic and forbidding on the palate. It will be interesting to see if time in bottle helps here.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Slinsen Vineyard is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of cassis, dark chocolate, menthol, herbs and cigars. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy, with an herbal streak lifting the ripe, rich fruit to a long finish.
