Note di degustazione
Bright purple. Dark berry preserves, incense and dried flowers on the powerfully scented nose. Lush, palate-coating black and blue fruit flavors are impressively concentrated, with spicecake and violet pastille nuances adding complexity. Finishes silky, sweet and long, with gentle tannic grip and an echo of candied flowers.

Vivid purple. Seductive aromas of black raspberry liqueur, potpourri and Moroccan spices, with smoke and olive accents in the background. Sappy and seamless on the palate, displaying sweet red and dark berry flavors and a seductive violet pastille nuance. Finishes with impressive energy and lift, leaving spice and floral notes behind. I suspect that this wine will be enjoyable soon after release.
Very dramatic and concentrated with a suggestion of both tar and rubber but very ripe – much fuller, more supple fruit than most St-Josephs. Very broad appeal with lovely dancing Syrah top notes. Lovely polished leather sensation. The tannins are extremely suave and there is an unusual sweetness about this wine. More voluptuous than angular. (JR)
