Note di degustazione
The 2016 Single Ferment Pinot Noir leads with rose essence and new leather, pomegranate and something darker and precise, like cassis, perhaps. The aromas are pure and so attractive. In the mouth, the tannins shape the silky fruit and extend the flavors out over the long finish. This is a superb wine. It's big in concentration but not heavy.

The 2016 QR Bendigo Estate Single Ferment Pinot Noir has a delightful red cherry and bilberry bouquet with touches of soy and minerals, all very well defined. The lithe palate offers supple tannin, well-judged acidity and a silky-smooth, vanilla-y finish. Very fine.
Darker and richer than the regular 2016 bottling, the 2016 Bendigo Estate Single Ferment Pinot Noir reveals aromas of cola, plum, spice and cedar. It's full-bodied but lacks the plushness of the 2015, perhaps because of its age, perhaps because the vintage just didn't offer the same level of ripeness. It's still an excellent Pinot Noir, with a decade ahead of it.
