An astonishing TBA that is at once an essence of red roses, a real red wine with an impressive tannin structure, but also a luscious dessert wine. Crazy herbal-liqueur intensity at the super-long and bright finish. This was actually fermented on the skins like a dry red wine! Drink now.

The 2019 Trockenbeerenauslese No. 7 Rosenmuskateller Nouvelle Vague opens with a delicate bouquet of Eibischteig, hollyhock, red paprika and red berries along with spicy and finely toasty notes. Full-bodied, sweet yet finessed on the palate, with a saline expression of bitter fruits, this is a highly delicate, saline and refreshing TBA with fine, tart tannins and stimulating bitters. 10% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
