2005 Jeff Cohn Cellars Syrah Ventana Vineyard

The 2005 Syrah Ventana Vineyard reveals the cool climate style of this site. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by hints of menthol, red licorice, black cherries, and black currants. With good underlying acidity and a short finish, it represents a California version of a French Crozes-Hermitage. It should be consumed over the next 3-4 years.
