2014 Gramercy Cellars Cabernet Franc

(14.1% alcohol; 95% from The Rocks): Bright ruby-red. Black raspberry, dark cherry, red plum and flowers on the nose and palate. Wonderfully sweet, graceful wine with a pliant texture, a hint of tobacco and little sign of either overripeness or greenness. This round, seamless wine is not hugely complex but definitely fills the mouth. The tannins are plush. I'm not sure I'd identify The Rocks here, which suggests that this will be a Cabernet Franc bottling worth following.
