Note di degustazione
(includes bits of merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot) Bright ruby-red. Cassis, black cherry, licorice, tar, herbs and spicy oak on the complex nose. Bright, high-pitched and intense, with good aromatic lift to the dark berry flavors. Tannins are firm, even a bit youthfully tough, but there's good persistence. This nicely avoids the hot-vintage character of so many Washington reds from 2003.

Cassis and copious quantities of red fruits are found in the aromatic profile of the sublime 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep, broad, lush wine, it is an edgeless, harmonious, sultry, medium to full-bodied delight. Oodles of red cherry syrup, blackberry liqueur, cassis, and black cherry nectar-like, pure flavors are found in its sensual personality. This decadent effort lustfully satisfies corporal pleasures. To top it all off, its long, supple finish slathers the palate with additional waves of hedonistic fruit. At $30 a bottle it’s a no-brainer! Projected maturity: now-2016. Tel.
