Delicate steely citrus aroma and then very crisp acidity. Taut and zesty, quite linear but persistent. (JH)

Brought up mostly in neutral oak, the 2016 Chardonnay White Hill is a lively, elegant, seamless Chardonnay that just glides across the palate. White flowers, salty minerality, white peach, and apple blossom notes all emerge from the glass and it's ethereal, lightly textured, and incredibly graceful. Drink it any time over the coming 5-7 years.
The 2016 Chardonnay White Hill is beautifully layered, creamy and expressive. Lees stirring adds lovely textural depth to a core of orchard fruit, chamomile, tangerine and lightly honeyed notes. Ample and impeccably balanced, the White Hill is a wine of real distinction and class.
There are fully 1,200 cases of the 2016 Chardonnay White Hill, Liquid Farm's largest bottling, which offers up a crisp bouquet of white peach, citrus pith, smoke and faint reduction. On the palate, the wine is bright and medium-bodied, with racy acids and nice tension, but concluding with a somewhat fluid finish that depresses my score a touch.
