2015 Schramsberg Brut Schwarze Vineyard

A 100% Chardonnay cuvée produced to celebrate the long-standing co-operation between the Davies family of Schramsberg and the David Schwarze family and their vines. Rich, evolved nose. Good acidity but not massive mid-palate impact, with the acidity the dominant feature. Clean and brisk but not quite complete. Not the tightest texture. Very dry. Presumably the grapes were picked pretty early? (JR)
