Note di degustazione
The latest installment of Roederer's NV Demi Sec Carte Blanche is promising, unfurling in the glass with notes of ripe lemons, gingerbread and toasted nuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate with a nicely concentrated core of fruit, bright acids and the house's characteristically delicate, refined mousse. The real interest—and complexity—will come with more time on cork.

Tasted blind. Lots of autolysis and the sweetness is slightly bolted on to the end. Fine and refined texture. Pretty good champagne that happens to be sweet. Just a tad sweet and sour. 6/10 for sweetness scale. (JR)
Solid and quite sweet. Good acid/sugar balance and quite assertive. Not sweet enough to drink with pud though. Well made. (JR)
Pretty, aromatic nose. Medium dry and nicely balanced. Zesty. Lime flavours. (JR)
