The 2020 Syrah wafts up with a remarkably pretty mix of sugar-dusted blackberries, confectionary spice and wet cement. This is pure elegance on the palate, soothingly supple and sweetly floral within, with mineral-tinged raspberry tones that penetrate deeply. Lightly tannic but also surprisingly juicy, the 2020 tapers off energetic and long with inner rose and violet tones that linger on and on. This is such a beauty already, but with upside cellaring potential as well.
