2013 Del Dotto Pinot Noir LT/OV Orion Cinghiale Vineyard Family Reserve

Another brilliant wine is the 2013 Pinot Noir Family Reserve Cinghiale Vineyard. More spice, earth, crisper acids and slightly more elevated tannin and oak are present in this deep ruby, relatively packed Pinot Noir. It exhibits dense red and blue fruits, attractive spice, a judicious use of oak, and supple tannins. Another winner, it’s almost impossible to say which is the better vintage, 2012 or 2013.
