2012 Purple Hands Pinot Noir Barron Wahl Vineyard

Bright ruby. Intense red berry preserve, cherry-cola and floral pastille aromas show excellent clarity and a complicating hint of woodsmoke. Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering zesty raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of spicecake. The silky, focused finish is framed by supple tannins that fold smoothly into the wine's juicy fruit.
