2008 Trefethen Family Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

Bright, youthful medium ruby. Reticent but lively aromas of cassis and mint, with hints of espresso and bitter chocolate. Nicely plush and creamy in the mouth; opening nicely but still in a rather cool style, showing a restrained sweetness. Finishes with fine-grained tannins and slowly building black fruit persistence. This still-young Cabernet is evolving slowly and gracefully.
