Bright light yellow. Tangy yellow stone fruits and more tropical notes (passion fruit) are accented by cumin on the nose; not at all honeyed or over the top for this sometimes exotic premier cru. The thickest of these premier crus but less sweet and open than on the nose. In fact, this wine is a bit youthfully aggressive and saline, with its fruit slow to express itself. Tighter than the Montmains today.

Bright, light yellow. Very ripe yellow peach and apricot on the deeply fruity nose. A fat, silky wine with lovely texture and concentration. Broad, dry and nicely filled in, finishing with excellent length and lift. Very solid, saline, extract-rich wine.
