2011 Sandlands Carignan Contra Costa

Sweet red berries, spices, mint and new leather meld together in the 2011 Carignane. In this vintage the flavors are a little bit brighter than in the 2010, while the structural elements are less imposing, all of which adds up to a striking wine with tons of near and medium-term appeal.
