2012 Patricia Green Pinot Noir Broadway

Brilliant ruby-red. Fragrant aromas of strawberry and raspberry are complicated by suggestions of cola and dried rose, along with some peppery spiciness. Tangy red fruit flavors gain depth with air, taking a turn to cherry and licorice while maintaining vivacity. Nicely focused and balanced pinot with very good finishing thrust and spiciness. Here's another "basic" 2012 bottling that's performing above its station.
