Note di degustazione
Savory herbs, wet stone and tobacco evolve into a blend of black currant and exotic spice as the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Estate blossoms in the glass. Round, supple and lifted by cooling mineral tones, this soothes with ripe red and black fruits, while mounting tannins saturate toward the close. It finishes structured and long, leaving a staining of primary concentration and grip. The best is truly yet to come.

Another beautiful wine, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley Estate is almost all Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate vineyard in the Rocks region of the Walla Walla Valley. This plum/purple-hued 2020 has a more subtle nose compared to the Red Mountain release, with complex blueberry and currant fruit as well as gorgeous smoked tobacco, lavender, iron, leather, and forest floor nuances that build with time in the glass. Full-bodied on the palate, it has ripe, integrated tannins, a layered, opulent mouthfeel, and outstanding length. It needs 2-4 years in the cellar and will evolve for two decades.
Made with 10% Merlot, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley is fresh and plummy with notes of dark cherry, dusty florals and elegant oak tones that sway with freshly opened flowers. Full-bodied, the palate is balanced, fresh and firm with an open-knit and approachable expression before showing succulent tannins that will remain food-friendly for years. The Cabernet winds down to a delightfully lingering and spicy finish. Made with organically farmed grapes, the wine rested for 20 months in 70% new French oak. 5,500 bottles produced.
