1993 Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese

The intensely yellow-colored 1993 Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese #7 (Auction) opens with an elegant, pure, saline and matured bouquet of juicy tropical fruits, citrus bitters, cowberry and blue berry aromas. Very elegant and playful on the palate, this is a finessed and stimulatingly saline Rausch Spätlese with intensity and a long, complex and lemony finish. It's a fabulous wine today and will still be in 20 years. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024.
