Opaque ruby. Highly aromatic scents of ripe black and blue fruits, olive, Moroccan spices and candied violet. Lush, smooth and seamless on the palate, offering densely packed blackberry, cherry cola, licorice and bitter chocolate flavors complemented by subtle oak tones. Weighty and impressively powerful yet lithe as well, finishing with building tannins, outstanding persistence and an echo of candied flowers.

(made with 40% whole clusters) Opaque ruby. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe blue fruits, Indian spices and potpourri, accompanied by subtle olive and licorice notes in the background. Sappy, sharply focused black raspberry and blueberry flavors become sweeter with air and gain a minerally quality that adds spine and back-end lift. Seamless and spicy on the impressively long finish, which shows excellent detail and harmonious tannins.
