Light bright yellow. Pear, honeydew melon and a hint of lemon pith on the incisive nose and in the mouth. Shows good depth as well as energy and picks up subtle herbal and floral nuances on the back half. Lingers with good tenacity, leaving dusty mineral and bitter quince notes behind.

Winemaker Florent Viale made a soft, rounded and delicious 2015 Crozes Hermitage Domaine Blanc (90% Marsanne and 10% Roussanne) that gives up lots of honeyed white peach, flowers and a kiss of oak. It has excellent purity and is a delicious drink.
