Full bottle 1,605 g. 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Meunier. 35% reserve wines and three years sur lattes. A little bit functional – more medicinal than anything else and lacking in fruit. Quite a bitter finish. Short. Disappointing. (TC)

Pretty copper and light-pink color with fine bubbles. Strawberries and minerals with some earth undertones on the nose, following through to a full body with a dense, condensed palate and a firm yet creamy finish. This is very vinous and complex. Pinot noir and chardonnay. Drink now.
The latest release of Henriot's NV Brut Rosé has turned out very nicely, wafting from the glass with delicate aromas of nectarine, mandarin and wheat toast. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly fleshy and precise, with racy acids and filigree tannic structure, this is a pretty, fine-boned rosé that will be extremely versatile.
Pale lustrous coppery orange. Lighter and more open and youthful than the Henri Giraud Esprit rosé. Just a little sweaty on the nose. And a tad chewy on the end. This seems really quite youthful – and even a bit simple. A touch gingerbeery even. This does not seem good value to me. I admire many an Henriot champagne but not this one. (JR)
