Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2022-2038, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2022

Moving into more candied and confected aromatics, the 2019 Pinot Noir Marin County is noted by sweet purple flowers and candied raspberry. The palate is softly textured and very pretty in style. The florality continues through the palate and is delicate and fresh. Drink 2022-2038. A part of the Kendall-Jackson family, Hartford Court was established by Don and Jennifer Hartford, whose first vintage was 1994. They began with two vineyard designated wines, and today they have expanded to include 36 single vineyard wines, dedicated to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel. Jeff Stewart, the general manager and winemaker since 2011, and Tiaan Lordan, who has been with the estate since 2010, share the role as winemakers today.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2022-2032, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Jul 2022

The 2019 Pinot Noir Marin County, matured 15 months in 35% new French oak, has a medium ruby-purple color and soaring aromas of rhubarb, blueberry, pipe tobacco, iodine, mushrooms, fir and lavender. The medium-bodied palate is silky and fragrant with bursts of juicy acidity and layer after layer of perfumed fruit on the extended finish. Only 211 cases were made.
