The 2006 First Date (a blend of 75% Roussanne and 25% Marsanne) possessed more character, although it tailed off considerably in the mouth. Displaying a hint of rose petals, tart acids, and a dry, medium-bodied character, it lacked the excitement I expect from wines made by winemaker/proprietor, Jeff Cohn. Tel.
