Note di degustazione
Vivid ruby. Ripe red berries, candied violet and a suggestion of smoky minerals on the perfumed nose. Fleshy but energetic, offering gently sweet cherry, black raspberry and spicecake flavors given spine and lift by juicy acidity. In the assertive, concentrated style of the vintage, but this wine shows no excess weight and finishes sappy, long and juicy, with smooth tannins coming in late.

The 2015 Moulin a Vent Terres Roses comes from 65-year-old vines and sees 9 months in concrete tank and foudres. It has a feisty bouquet of cassis, red cherries and spice - all well defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet red cherry and cassis notes, grippy in the mouth with a sustained, quite structured finish. Like the Morgon, it will need a year or two in bottle to mellow and gain more elegance, but it will be worth the wait.
