2001 Shea Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard Block 23

Good bright dark red. Nose dominated by gingerbread and whiskey barrel. Then sweet and chewy, with fairly intense, sweet flavors of spicy oak and scotch. Shows more texture and breadth than the basic Shea Vineyard bottling but also a bit more aggressive oakiness on the slightly edgy finish.
