20th vintage. See 2019 vintage for the background to this vineyard. Shaded garnet colour. Vegy/fruity nose with some violet top notes and much more ripeness than the 2019. There's a little dry chewiness on the end at this stage but all the elements are there. (JR)

The 2018 Pinot Noir Le Pré du Col Vineyard has classic scents of fresh cranberries and blackberries with accents of tea leaves, woodsmoke and earth. The palate is delicately styled, seamlessly fresh and gently grainy with loads of nuanced flavors on the long finish.
Saturated crimson. Expressive red and blue fruits, incense and candied flowers on the expansive, seductively perfumed nose,which is energized by a smoky mineral nuance. Sappy, alluringly sweet and finely detailed on the palate, offering deeply concentrated yet lively Chambord, boysenberry and cola flavors, along with a suave Asian spice nuance. Fine-grained and seamless in texture, finishing with solid, spicy thrust, resonating florality and smooth, harmonious tannins.
