2014 Cyprien Arlaud Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru

The 2014 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts, released under the A & Arlaud négoçiant label, had a very reduced bouquet that subdued the definition and fruit intensity. The palate is rounded on the entry with a touch of pencil lead infusing the red berry fruit, but for this writer it does not convey the propitious nature of Les Petit Monts and feels “blocky” and lacks terroir expression on the finish.
