2007 Domaine La Florane Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan Terre Pourpre

A gorgeous Cotes du Rhone-Villages from a cool climate terroir, this blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre was aged in demi-muids. It exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as abundant amounts of peppery spice intermixed with blueberries, black raspberries, graphite, and licorice. Dense, rich, and pure, it can be drunk now or cellared for 5-6 years. No known American importer.
