Unfortunately, I found the 2000 Gigondas to be slightly oxidized, and maybe even a touch of cork, yet it sill had good concentration and texture on the palate. You win some, you lose some.

Full red. Roasted red fruits, leather and a hint of raisin on the nose. Fat, sweet and very ripe, with a plump, lush texture and very ripe tannins.
