2017 Maison Bleue Syrah Graviere Stone Valley

The 2017 Syrah Gravière includes a solid chuck of Viognier (7%) and was destemmed and raised in 30% new oak. It has a wonderful core of red and blue fruits as well as notes of crushed flowers, white pepper, and hints of violets. Playing in the medium-bodied end of the spectrum, it's elegant, with polished tannins and a great finish. It's going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for upwards of a decade.
