Note di degustazione
This may be the best Petit Village I have ever tasted. Crimson with a ruby rim. Light and fresh on the nose with great sweetness and charm on the palate – which is more impressive than the aroma. Rich, long and pure pleasure. Perhaps just very, very slightly dry on the finish but a really lovely wine. (JR)

The 1990 is another in-your-face, ostentatious, super delicious wine. This rich, oaky, smoky, alcoholic, lusciously rich, hedonistic wine makes for a wonderful drink. The wine is now revealing far more weight and tannin than it did from barrel. Drink this voluptuous, opulently textured, decadently smooth and ripe Pomerol over the next 8-12 years.
Deep, healthy medium color. Very ripe cherries, smoke and a hint of alcohol on the nose. Strong extract; thick, ripe, mouthfilling fruit already shows lovely texture and shape. Long and ripe on the finish. Doesn't have quite the stylishness or grip of the '89, but this is lovely wine.
