Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Finely spiced red-fruit nose that is still quite closed. A little backward on the palate too. Fragrant, mouth-filling fruit and powdery tannins. Elegant and fragrant and yet unostentatious. Deserves another year in bottle. Burgundy-like. (WS)

Just mid ruby, resembling Pinot Noir. Cool, inviting nose of raspberry fruit with a hint of herbs. Captivating and a little ethereal. Really transparent and succulent on the palate, with a fine vein of powdery tannins. A very pretty wine, and I would love to see this age a little, but the juicy fruit is so captivating right now and finely balanced with only 13% alcohol (!) (WS)
