Note di degustazione
The 2015 Pinot Noir Acin is a wine of power, structure and tannin. As such, it will need more time to fully unwind. Here, too, the whole cluster element is more pronounced than in some of the other wines. Bright saline notes give the wine an added kick of energy that is quite appealing.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Acin has bright, lifted red cherry and raspberry notes with suggestions of Marmite toast, dried Mediterranean herbs and stewed tea. Medium-bodied with a lively acid backbone and chewy tannins defining the palate, it has loads of earthy nuances and ends on a sour cherry note.
Coming from a north facing slope just across from Melville and all clone 828, the 2015 Pinot Noir Acin is a deeper, richer wine than the 3D and is up with the crème de la crème in the region. Spring flowers, wild strawberries, black raspberries and spice all flow to a layered, incredibly seamless, pure Pinot Noir that has integrated acidity, a gorgeous texture and a finish that carries plenty of fruit and length. It’s not a big wine, yet it has plenty of intensity as well as complexity. Drink it anytime over the coming decade or more.
