Note di degustazione
The 2011 TrotteVieille has a pretty, light bouquet, leather and undergrowth, modest dark berry fruit, simple but delineated. The palate is bitter on the entry with sharp tannins, quite piquant in style, a mixture of red and black fruit with a splash of soy on the finish. This is fully mature and should be drunk over the next four to five years. Tasted blind at the annual 10-Year-On tasting.

Tasted blind. Light gaminess on the nose. Cool, rather ungenerous fruit. Pinched finish. (JR)
Tasted blind. Blackish crimson. Sweet, simple nose. Easy palate but almost at the expense of structure! Bitter end. (JR)
Black core, dark-cherry rim. Savoury and subdued on the nose. Spice and a touch of liquorice. Dark, coaly and refined on the palate. Lots of spice, impressive length, very intense and not nearly ready. (JH)
