Note di degustazione
Full red-ruby. Shy but inviting aromas of kirsch , blueberry, lavender and flowers. Gripping and hugely concentrated if a bit youthfully imploded, with the black raspberry fruit leavened by saline soil tones. Finishes with explosive fruits and flowers. A hugely structured wine but not quite as tough or inky as the Chambertin in the early going.

The 2014 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru has a more complex nose than the Chambertin with dark berry fruit, sous-bois and light floral aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with tart cherry fruit, a keen line of acidity, with redcurrant and cranberry towards the linear finish that has more harmony than Marchant-Tawse's Chambertin at the moment. This has fine breeding.
