Note di degustazione
The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a stunning bouquet with lifted raspberry coulis, wild strawberry, cassis and violet scents. Wonderful delineation. The oak is seamlessly integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant and filigree tannins, but there's real backbone here. A mixture of red and black fruit, orange rind and iodine conveys a sense of control and mineralité . It just gets better and better with aeration. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

Don't Miss! Outstanding. Restrained, pure and wonderfully elegant aromas are comprised by notes of violet, rose petal, lilac, Asian-style tea and sandalwood. The gorgeously textured, even satiny, flavors glide across that palate while displaying an almost pungent minerality that also suffuses the strikingly persistent finish. This is class in a glass and a classically styled Amoureuses.
Captivating aromas of peonies, rose petals, blood orange, violets, raspberries and warm spices preface Mugnier's 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses, a medium to full-bodied, ample and exquisitely perfumed wine that's elegant and seamless, with a perfumed, sensual profile and a long, resonant finish.
Cask sample. Bright, mid-cherry hue. Lofty, scented and serious. The acidity and tannins are very fine and integrated. (MH)
