Coming from a site in the Happy Canyon region of Santa Barbara County, the 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Le Jardin Secret Grimm's Bluff Vineyard is in the top handful of Sauvignon Blancs coming out of the central coast. Made in a racy, higher acid style (Paul says it's Dagueneau inspired), it gives up terrific notes of crisp citrus, green herbs and fresh crushed rocks in a medium-bodied, vibrant, lively style that highlights the purity of fruit. Brought up in a mix of stainless steel, neutral barrels and concrete eggs, enjoy it anytime over the coming 4-5 years, and it could certainly have an interesting evolution beyond that as well.

A striking, finely-cut wine, the 2015 Le Jardin Secret Sauvignon Blanc Grimm's Bluff Vineyard is one of the highlights in this range. Lemon peel, white flowers and white pepper give the 2015 its aromatic top notes. Green apple, pear, sage and mint punctuate the super-expressive, saline-infused finish. This is an especially tense, salivating, phenolic Sauvignon Blanc long on class.
