2019 Sanguis 1/1 Grenache

Despite its recent bottling, the 2019 Grenache 1/1 is very expressive and fragrant. The nose is defined by raspberries, tangerine and saline and hints of mushroom, autumn leaves, aniseed and lilac. Medium-bodied, luxuriously powdery and seamless as it glides through the mouth, it has layered, spicy flavors and Angostura-like accents sweeping across the long, ethereal finish. It was vinified with around 50% whole clusters and matured for 27 months in seasoned 400-liter puncheons.
