This has a beautiful nose of blue and black fruit with a touch of balsamic, smoke and vanilla (from 18 months French barrique). It has a very fine tannin profile with good power and concentration of fruit on the mid-palate. Black plum , blueberry and blackberry fruit is complemented by a mouth-watering salinity on the finish, giving the wine a great balance and freshness.

Tenuta Venissa is a remarkable winery based in the Venice lagoon on the island of Mazzorbo. The winery is owned and run by the Bisol family (of Prosecco fame) which has pioneered the winemaking revival in the region.
