Note di degustazione
Bright, light yellow. Orchard and stone fruits dominate the nose, with spices and peppery herbs providing some lift. Fat, rich and dry, showing a lightly saline quality to its fruit salad flavors. Almost glyceral in the middle and firm and persistent on the finish but I wanted a bit more definition and energy.

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon Reserve comes from vines sourced from four parcels planted between 1997 and 2003, an equal blend of the two varieties; the wine barrel fermented in 300 and 500-liter barriques for 11 months. It has a potent bouquet with strong Sauvignon aromas: kiwi fruit, gooseberry and asparagus, well defined and vibrant. The palate is well balanced with a pleasant flintiness on the entry, almost as if there was some Riesling in the blend, and there is a slight petrol-like note on the finish that continues the Germanic theme. Intriguing wine and delicious, too.
