Bright ruby. Complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes black and blue fruit preserves, star anise and cracked pepper, with slow-building florality. Juicy, palate-staining black raspberry and blueberry flavors are brightened by a zesty mineral quality and become sweeter with air. Closes with a whiplash of spices and impressive length.

Vivid ruby. Mineral-accented aromas of blackberry and cassis, with hints of smoky herbs and black pepper in the background. Very fresh, with sexy floral notes adding complexity to bright dark berry flavors. Tannins build with air and give grip to a long, spicy finish.
Bright crimson. Rich as well as peppery on the nose. Very polished and sleek. Real finesse and appetisingly ripe fruit. Great purity. (JR)
